From time to time on the Twilight Blog, I've decided to check in on the careers launched (or not yet launched) by the film adaptations of The Twilight Saga. Because every film critic needs a gimmick (Roger Ebert and his thumbs and general lovability, Armond White and his love of bad movies, hatred of good movies and frequent accusations of racism) I've decided to rank the films I view in terms of whether or not I enjoyed them more or less than (500) Days Of Summer, an ostensibly decent film I nonetheless found to be a uniquely unpleasant experience. The films below are therefore spatially arranged above or below that film, the meaning of which should be obvious enough. The films I would actually recommend you do see are marked with an asterisk, since being better than (500) Days Of Summer is a fairly dubious honor.Monday, June 14, 2010
