As I grow older and respect human life more and more, I find violence in movies increasingly disturbing. I watched Zombieland again a few weeks ago and in the first few minutes of that film, a woman is thrown from her car, through the windshield, only to roughly collide with the pavement. Even in the context of a movie as lighthearted and inconsequential as Zombieland (the crash in question is played as a joke), I really couldn't get over that image; it still sort of haunts me today. This is coming from someone who used to delight in my high number of tallied "head-shots" when I played Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64. I've changed, and I have changed for the better, and what I am saying is I will take Kristen Stewart's tits in a car (as the above stills photograph depict, it is a scene from the upcoming On The Road) over someone crashing a car any day of the week.

On Movie Nudity In General & Kristen Stewart Specifically (NSFW)
Previously established and lamented gender disparities and pervasive sexism in American culture aside, I like naked women. Who doesn't? They're great. And the other big problem with America is that we're ultraviolent and we are perfectly fine with ultraviolence in our movies, the movies we show to kids, even, so long as nobody fucks someone else violently (and I refer to violent sex in a good, consensual way). That's why I'm perfectly happy with nudity in movies--movies for adults--in fact there ought to be a lot more of it. Because in the first place it does a lot to correct our weird media morality and in the second place it's fun to see famous people naked.

It's funny you mention Zombieland because that was one of the first movies where I got kind of freaked out by the violence, specifically in the opening sequences. I know they're zombies so they're not people and stuff but those opening credits were kind of a tough pill for me to swallow. And, like you, I used to LOVE violence in movie. Fght Club was one of the sexiest movies I can think of, so I clearly still have it in me, somewhere, to like it. But now I also just find the graphic violence kind of distasteful. Being old is weird.
That picture of KStew's boobs is too blurry. FOCUS, PHOTOG! I want more details!
I'm all for senseless violence as long as it doesn't involve needles. I remember being a little kid and my brother was watching a scary movie (Babysitter Massacre if I recall correctly) with some of his friends. I would leave the room when the sexy scenes would come on because they confused me.
Don't get me wrong I also covered my eyes when the guy drove an axe through the girls head but I wasn't ready to see people doing the deed. Flash forward to a few weeks ago and I purposefully looked up the five minute video of Black Swan that only had the sexy bits.
I agree with Kira, KStew's boobs need to come into high def focus. What better way to market the movie than to make that screen cap the poster?
I think I did a college term paper on the weird moral values of American movies. It's okay to see someone get their head ripped off by a chainsaw, but you can't show people having sex or nude scenes from the waist down. For a long time, a topless woman was the best you can get. I remember the first time I EVER saw a penis in a movie, it was "The Piano" and I was SHOCKED. I'm guessing they're not allowed to show wood either.
@Tod. They're really not allowed, unless they want to make a porno. in which case it's a porno and cannot be played in normal theatres I guess because of license agreements I assume ;)(the last sentence is based on a lot of guesswork but that's how I explain stuff without researching it further to myself :) )
