Harry Potter And The Chamber Of Dick Jokes

How are you, Internet? Here's some more HP caps. There is so much Harry Potter stuff on the Internet right now! A lot of people are saying like, this marks the end of their childhood. Most of those people are like 24 and 25 years old. Uh, your childhood ended a long time ago, guys! But maybe I don't feel that way because I read all of the Harry Potter books at age 19. That might be the problem. I mean I'm excited about this movie but I'm not using it to mark a transition in life or anything, you know? Captain America would more significantly mark the end of my childhood, and who knows, maybe when I see that I will the one be hiding my cathartic tears behind my 3D glasses.

It definitely marked the end of my childhood...but I'm 17 so I think it's less weird for me to say.

I don't feel like it marks the end of my childhood - I mean I was 15 when I started reading them and I'm 27 now so that would be kind of ridiculous - but I do get the whole bittersweet ending feel. It was one hell of an ending, though. I'm pretty satisfied.

Maybe it's not the end of my childhood but it sure feels that way. I started reading the books in 2000 when I was 10 so they've been a constant in my childhood; I just always had Harry Potter. It's something I have been emotionally invested in for so long and now it's kinda over. But the fandom will last forever I think. You just can't replicate it. The anticipation and excitement for the book releases and the movies was very fun to be a part of and I'll miss that.
I just want to add this quote by JK Rowling from the World Premier of Deathly Hallows Part 2 which I love and made me cry like a baby:
"No story lives unless someone wants to listen...The stories we love best do live in us forever. So whether you come back by page or the big screen, Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home."

Yeah, I have been seeing that quote everywhere and I think it's great. It warms my heart! Thanks, JK Rowling, you're like the cool aunt I never had.
